96. Moving Puts the Ack in Back

The process of settling back in is now going slowly. We got our all our boxes moved in one day, and then got Jack the next day. Now we're just trying to find a place for everything.

The main reason that we wanted to do it all in one day was that it meant we'd get this month's storage rental money back. One of the main drawbacks of this is that it did a number on my back. Hurtey.

Our house is full of boxes, mostly brown
relocated here from our storage space.
We got it all in five trips through the town;
we wished to this month's storage fee outrace.

A Herculean task, but our plan worked:
a refund check is coming in the mail.
But with all that, my poor old back got jerked
and wrenched all up so that it makes me wail.

It hurts to straighten up from sit position
and I feel best when lying on my back.
Regardless, though, of all my supine wishin',
now's not the time for me to be all slack.

I should be out acquiring some employment
or at the very least, some friend enjoyment.
