67. A Megan at rest tends to stay at rest

There will come a day when we will be back at work, getting up at grown-up hours and doing grown-up things and being all responsible. But today is not that day.

The Megan barely left her bed today
but not because of pain or malady.
She had a book she couldn't put away
and time to guiltless lounge and rest, you see.

While strolled I through my neighborhood of yore
and in the car with Xen did errands run,
Megan chose to recuperate some more
with baths and bed-based internetting fun.

At last my Sweet descended from her tower
and ran into us gaming pair of machos.
She wielded her decision-making power,
decreeing that we make and eat some nachos.

Tortillas tasted, up the stairs she rose
to loll once more in sweet supine repose.
