45. Hoodie homesick

There are things I brought here that I haven't worn once, that were a waste of space in a place that doesn't have much to begin with. And there are things that I didn't bring that I really wish I did.

Can you believe that this hoodie costs $300?
Oh, complimentary shipping, the site says. Pfft. Better be.

I brought three sweatshirts with me from the States
but not one with a zipper, more's the pity.
I've missed it sore, while here, and I'll relate
my woes, sans hoodie, in this foreign city.

I brought a fleece, an excellent mid-layer
'tween tee and pea when Winter blew so cold;
a pullover, for when it's cool but fair
that has a hood in case the clouds grow bold;

a plain grey sweat completes this listing story.
All-purpose, yes, but if Time I could hack
I'd add a hoodie to my inventory
for while here I have keenly felt its lack.

I'm thinking of my dark blue one, with zipper.
If had it here I did I'd want none hipper.
