52. All your time are belong to us

Hello, my name is Nathaniel Sternbergh, and I'm an addict. I've never really indulged this addiction to the extent it would like, but the times I have loosened its rein a bit and let it play tell me that to unleash it completely could very well lead to the end of my marriage, social life, all the usual stuff.

This was my gateway game
But if I'm careful I can take the beast out for a walk sometimes.

I put on blinders for the newest game;
I speak here of the console/keyboard kind.
Regardless of its quality or fame
I uninformed stay, as I have designed.

For two weeks I played nothing but Medievil
and in that time I never saw a friend.
I spent a month in KOTOR, sans retrieval;
from morn to night I played, until its end.

To electronic games I get addicted;
'Tis best I play in trifling amount.
With Bioshock, I kept myself restricted
and that, as waste of time, I do not count.

I played it with a friend; with friends, you see
I have no problem playing games guilt-free.
